Sunday's best

So I have come to fancy of the idea of Sunday brunch. I can't think of a better way to start my lazy Sundays.
After hearing l the rave about Ethos Vegan Kitchen (I'm definalty not a fuckin vegan)I went on Halloween (I was Nick Jonas) for a bean burger known a the "Samson." very new to the black bean fan club the "Samson" was highly anticipating. Although not as good as the Milltown Bean Burger (Carboro, NC) still enoyed it.

With dinner aside Ethos hands down has the best pancakes. Every Sunday til 3 brunch is served and if your lucky they may have the pumpkin panckes which I swear by. In addtion I got their buiscit which is very much like the ones at Flying Buiscuit. (Atlanta, GA) Ethos bruch has become something I look forward to every week, those pancakes may put me (diabetic) in a coma but totally worth it. I'm not sure what those damn vegans do to their pancakes but apparently they are doing something right.

Neglected this for a while....

Taylor here, we neglected this page for a while but I have been doing so much cooking and so much eating I thought I would update.

The other night we had a nice grown up dinner party. I made homemade mac and cheese, which cheddar, bleu cheese, and pepperjack. John made white zin chicken. We also made a side of Asparagus, with honey on top.... try it!

As the appetizer we bought a loaf of french bread from winn dixie, cut it into slices. Then I put olive oil, basil garlic, red pepper flakes, ect ect into a bowl to dip the bread in.

Emjo brought the wine and the pumpkin pie!!

Needless to say.... it was a good night!
